General information

  1. Abstracts are required for all oral presentations and posters.
  2. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations must be submitted by 30 April 2026 (23:59 CET).
  3. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  4. Each presenter can only give one oral presentation at the conference.
  5. Each presenter can present as many posters as wished.
  6. When submitting the abstract the presenter will have to choose a session. Please note that the fact that a session is included in the call for abstracts does not guarantee that this session will be programmed at the meeting. Depending on the number of abstracts received, the Programme Committee will decide to accept, merge or cancel the session. In the latter case, the Programme Committee will suggest moving your abstract to another session.
  7. Accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website. By submitting an abstract you consent to give ECOTOXICOMIC 2026 permission to publish your abstract.
  8. Withdrawal of abstracts can only be accepted if notified in writing and subsequently confirmed by the ECOTOXICOMIC 2026 Conference Organisers.
  9. Presenting authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection of their abstract in the summer of 2026.

  • Antimicrobial Resistance - An emerging concern with growing consequences
  • Assessment of the impact of pollutants on microbial diversity and functioning
  • Potential interaction of nature-based solutions (i.e. biopesticides, biological nitrification inhibitors) and natural toxins with environmental microbiomes
  • Microbial degradation/detoxification of pollutants and bioremediation applications
  • Interactions of environmental microbiomes with pollutants under climate change scenarios
  • Microbiota - pollutants interactions in engineered environmental settings

 

 Content of your abstract

  1. The abstract should include a title (max. 200 characters without spaces, not in caps)
  2. You will be asked to enter the name(s) of the author(s), their affiliation and addresses when you submit your abstract online.
  3. The Surname of the presenting author has to be underlined, and his/her e-mail indicated.
  4. The abstract word limit is max. 300 words per abstract.
  5. Keywords: between 3 to 5
  6. You should indicate in your abstract if the presenting author is a PhD student, a post-doc (< 5 years after PhD) or a senior researcher.
