How to Reach Thessaloniki

The international airport of Thessaloniki MAKEDONIA is connected with several main cities of Europe. Once you land in Thessaloniki there is a range of options to reach to the town center.

1. Taxi : You can pick up a taxi just outside the Arrivals. The cost of the trip from the airport to the town center is fixed to 25€.
2. Bus : The bus line 01X get you from the airport to the city center. The bus stop is just a few meters outside the Arrivals hall of the airport. The bus runs every 20 minutes and it takes around 45-50 minutes to get you to the city center (You should get off at the stops Sintrivani, Kamara or Aristotelou Sq. you have booked to stay close to the venue then you could use earlier stops (i.e. 25 Martiou or Faliro). The conference will take place at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, which is located on 25 Martiou Street, where it meets the waterfront, right next to the Posidonio Athletic Centre. It is 3,5 km from the centre of the city and it is very easily accessible both on foot, by car, public transportation (bus) or bike.
