EcotoxicoMic GRANTS

The EcotoxicoMic network offers grants to support students and researchers in microbial ecotoxicology interested in presenting their research at EcotoxicoMic 2026. Grants will preferentially be awarded to PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and researchers in non-permanent positions, and to researchers from countries with limited science support¹. In addition, grants will preferentially be awarded to candidates applying for oral presentation. Grant attribution will take into account the quality and originality of the research. The grant selection committee is independent from the abstract selection committee. Receiving a grant does not guarantee acceptance of a presentation, and vice versa.

Eligible costs include conference registration fees, travel, and accommodation expenses. Other costs may be considered for support upon request. Awarded grants will range between 250€ and 1500€ / person depending on the number of requests.
Grants will be provided as indirect financial support and will not involve any direct payment to the recipients.

How to apply?

• Submit an abstract to Ecotoxicomic 2026 as presenting author before April 15, 2026

• Send your complete application per email to chloe.bonnineau@inrae.fr with the subject “GRANT EcotoxicoMic 2026” before April 15, 2026

• Your application will include:

  • The completed application form including a provisional budget - to be downloaded here.

  • Letter of motivation describing your main area of research and your interest in attending the EcotoxicoMic 2026 conference

  • Your CV

  • For students and researchers in non-permanent positions: letter of approval from your supervisor

Applicants will be informed of the outcome in the first week of May.
